After finishing her cup of wine, Sun Lingling asked, “Guo Huai, can I have one more cup?” She did not dare to look at Guo Huai anymore since this young boy in front of him was unexpectedly aware of her condition. More importantly, before even meeting this fellow, none of the rumors about him was positive.

“You mustn’t believe everything you hear. Sister Beauty, did what you say earlier still count now?” Guo Huai asked as he filled Sun Lingling’s cup with wine.

“Of course it counts. As long as you aren’t afraid of pissing your girlfriends off, I’ll invite you to be my dance partner during graduation prom,” Sun Lingling said with a smile.

“Hahah, I’ll be waiting for your invitation then. If you want your body completely cured, message me in three days’ time,” Guo Huai said.

“Brother Huai, are you really able to treat Elder Sister Lingling?” Murong Weiwei asked softly.

“Don’t worry, it’s nothing serious. Let’s eat, let’s eat. The dishes Sixth Grandpa served today are very satisfying!” Guo Huai said as he served the girls before chatting along.

After everyone had filled their stomach, the top seven had a photography session together. After returning to his dorm, Qian Duoduo said, “Brother Huai, look! Does this photographer even know what he’s doing? He’s humiliating my handsome face! I’ll find him afterwards.”

Behind Qian Duoduo, Xue Dazhu looked at the computer screen, saying, “Brother Duoduo, honestly, you should be appreciative that it turned out this well. Look at Lord Huai, the legend of Wucheng Subhigh. He’d still look this good no matter what angle the picture was taken from.”

“Damn! There are more than three thousand fans already. Brother Huai does know a lot of people, doesn’t he?” Qian Duoduo said loudly. “Brother Huai, look! There’s an alliance of seven schools. Imagine taking the first place in Knowledge Championship in this situation! Hahah!”

Guo Huai walked down from the balcony as he removed his clothes, revealing blocks of shredded muscles.

“Duoduo, what alliance?” Guo Huai asked.

“The other seven schools of Knowledge Championship will be forming an alliance, meaning we’ll go against seven schools at the same time,” Qian Duoduo said.

“Since I managed to get a chance to represent the school, I really have to rest for a while. Help me ask for a leave. I’ll have to get things done outside the school compound,” Guo Huai said, smiling.

“Young Master, the Assassination Alliance has replied. The price to have Guo Huai killed is out,” an old man said to Qin Yulong.

“Since we know how much to pay now, get it done as soon as possible. We have to kill the fellow before Knowledge Championship! I want him dead!” Qin Yulong shouted. After the qualifiers had ended, Qin Yulong became the most infamous character, with his video of running naked being posted online. Following the ridiculously big gambling entry, the master of Qin clan got sent to the hospital as a result of high blood pressure. Qin Yulong had been kicked out of the Qin clan. Starting from this moment, everything that had to do with him was unrelated to the family.

“Young Master, the price they offered is 10 billion. I don’t think they’re prepared to offer us their service,” the old man spoke softly.

Clash! Qin Yulong threw the tea cup he was holding onto the ground. He then smashed his computer as well. “10 billion?! To kill a highschooler?! I remember Father got a business competitor killed for only 10 million, with an ‘m’!”

“However, the guy called Liu Chuang can be dealt with for only 10 million,” the old man said softly.

“Give them 10 million! I’ll get the kid of Liu family killed first. I’ll think of a way to get rid of Guo Huai after that,” Qin Yulong said fiercely.

“Brother Wei, here’s the letter from the office. I have to leave the school for a while,” Guo Huai said to the security guard Li Wei who was at the school entrance.

“Brother Huai, you’re really impressive! All of us here watched the live stream of the qualifiers. You’re too remarkable!” Li Wei said excitedly like he saw a superstar.

“Hahah, I’m flattered. Brother Wei, I’ll be back really soon. Do you need me to bring you anything?” Guo Huai asked.

“Nah, no need. Li Long and I will treat you for a meal once you’re back. You have to accept our request by then!” Li Wei said as he opened the gate for Guo Huai. Guo Huai then walked out happily.

Seeing Guo Huai walk out of the school,  the old man from Qin family immediately phoned Qin Yulong, “Young Master, the fellow Guo Huai just went out the school compound.”

“Hahah, even God is helping me! Alright, Uncle Kui, you shall rest now,” Qin Yulong said.

Upon entering the bus, Guo Huai saw a familiar face. “Oh, kid, it’s you again!” the driver said. He was the same bus driver he met on the first day of school.

“Hahah, you don’t need to say anything. I have money on me this time,” Guo Huai said before running to the back of the bus.

“Kid, where are you heading to? The holiday season isn’t even here yet,” the driver said, looking at Guo Huai through the rear mirror.

“Uncle, I’m heading to the city. You may drop me at a place where I can get some traditional Chinese medicine. I’m not feeling too well, I have a prescription from the doctor,” Guo Huai said.

“Oh, I see! You have to really take good care of your body. In this society, you can have anything but a disease and you can lack anything but money. Look at me, I have been driving for the past few years. The mother of my child works as a cashier at…” the driver spit out at least 15000 words. “Kid, you may get down here. Walk inside and towards the end, you’ll see a few major pharmacies there. I suggest you to get a person who understands herbs. There are a lot of fakes nowadays.” The driver did not stop talking during the bus journey. After suffering for a while, Guo Huai finally arrived at a street.

“Sigh… The stuff that our ancestors have left for us have all changed already. Back then, only one recipe of medicine can heal a disease. I bet diseases are difficult to cure without at least eight or nine recipes,” Guo Huai said as he reached a pharmacy. Although the environment was filled with medicinal smell, he could tell that the medicines could not rival the ones from Tang Dynasty, let alone the ones from heaven.

In Zhenzhong Pharmacy, there were around ten servers, all of which graduated from the medical school of Wucheng University. “Juanzi, there’s a handsome customer. Go and serve him.”

Guo Huai looked at the rather pleasant girl and said, “Antler mucus, turtle shell, male oyster, ootheca mantidis, ginseng, astragalus root, angelica acutiloba, peony root, dried asparagus, licorice root, rehmannia, bupleurum, salvia, and yam. You have all of them, right?”

Before Juanzi even opened her mouth, a lady appeared and said, “Handsome Boy, you said them too quickly. How is it possible for her to remember them all? Please repeat at a slower pace. Judging from the combination of some ingredients, isn’t it used to cure the disease of a female?”

Guo Huai got speechless and coughed awkwardly before saying, “Ahem, ahem. I want some cordyceps, wolfberry and whatever as well.”

“Handsome Boy, you don’t look like a college student at your age. May I know what you need these medicines for?” the girl asked.

“Beauty, are you guys selling medicines or investigating customers? It’s not like the materials I need are illegal, right? Get them to me if you want to sell. I’ll leave to other places otherwise,” Guo Huai said rather loudly.

“Yes, of course we have them! If you can’t find something in our shop, every other shop won’t have it either! Please wait,” Juanzi said quickly.

“Get me some ginseng and angelica acutiloba first. I want to check their quality,” Guo Huai said, taking a deep breath. Are the medicines here even viable? he thought.
