Urban Banished Immortal - Chapter 57
Full Marks for All Seven Subjects!
Sun Lingling hit away Guo Huai’s hand and softly but angrily said, “There’s a lot of people here. Behave properly!”
“Hahah, alright. In this case, I’ll wait until tonight when we meet at the hotel again,” Guo Huai whispered beside Sun Lingling’s ear, causing her to blush.
Although Guo Huai spoke very softly, Shen Birou heard what he said. “Oh my god! Sister Lingling, you and Guo Huai really got closer!” she said, astonished.
“Beauty, what are you talking about? Did you fall for my Brother Huai as well? Actually, Brother Huai is a bit too unfaithful. You may take me into consideration. I’m not bad as well!” Xue Dazhu said, smiling at Shen Birou. This girl is really not bad! I bet she can shock the people from Xue family when I bring her home, he thought.
“I’m really sorry, I don’t fancy younger guys especially one as tall as you,” Shen Birou said with a smile.
“The two of you would look really good together. No worries, you guys are fated together. You’ll fall for him sooner or later. Hahah!” Guo Huai said and laughed.
“You’re Guo Huai, right? How about for people like you who are with a million girls at the same time. How does your fate work?” Shen Birou asked, looking at Guo Huai.
When they were chatting, Murong Weiwei walked over and said, “Brother Huai, you haven’t been to class for quite a while already. Teacher Lin Shuang has been looking for you.”
“Sister Lingling, you’re here as well!” Murong Weiwei said. She noticed that Guo Huai was standing exceptionally close to Sun Lingling and smiled helplessly. She only hoped that Guo Huai would think of her once in a while. He had strings with too many girls.
“Weiwei, I didn’t look at you from close-up during the qualifiers. I noticed that you got a lot prettier since then! It’s no wonder that Guo Huai had been mentioning you all the time,” Sun Lingling said with a smile.
“Awww stahp it,” Murong Weiwei said, blushing. She then walked closer to Guo Huai. “Brother Huai, do you have time tomorrow? I feel like going home. Can you come along?” she whispered. She did not want to delay her brother’s treatment. Looking at Sun Lingling’s expression, she could feel that her illness had been healed by Guo Huai, making her slightly more confident towards his ability.
“Alright, call me tomorrow. We’ll go together,” Guo Huai said with a smile. “You mentioned that Teacher Lin Shuang has been looking for me. I’ll go look for her. You guys may chat here.”
Knock! Knock! Guo Huai took a deep breath before entering the office.
Lin Shuang was busy with something and did not notice Guo Huai’s presence. The only people in the entire office were Guo Huai and Lin Shuang. Silently walking towards her back, her scent made Guo Huai take a deep breath involuntarily.
“Naughty Boy hasn’t been to school for a week already. Qian Duoduo has been taking his leave for him. Xue Dazhu didn’t seem bothered. What is going on? There’s yet another new student being put into Class One. I have to look for Headmaster Li to talk about it,” Lin Shuang murmured as she looked at a file on her table, shaking her head.
Guo Huai took a look at the picture on the file and saw a familiar face, but he could not recall when he had seen her before.“Oh, she’s a stunning beauty. It’s good that she’s coming to Class One,” he said softly.
“It’s exactly because she’s a beauty that she can’t enter our class. We have Naughty Boy here, I bet this girl is going to be taken advantage very soon. Sigh,” Lin Shuang replied, disturbed. She suddenly felt that someone was behind her. She turned her head around only to realize it was the ‘Naughty Boy’ she was talking about. “Ah! W-When did you come in here? Why didn’t you knock before coming in?!” she said loudly, shocked.
“Teacher, it’s not good practice to talk bad about students behind their backs,” Guo Huai said as he stared at Lin Shuang, smiling. “I’ve been rather busy lately. The first thing I did when I came back to school was to report to you. Have you been missing me?”
“Guo Huai, I’m your teacher now. You better behave yourself,” Lin Shuang said seriously as she adjusted her sleeves. “Since you came back to school already, I hope to see you in class tomorrow.”
“I won’t be present tomorrow as well. Weiwei took leave to go home and I’ll be going with her tomorrow,” Guo Huai said without trying to hide anything.
“What does it have to do with you?” Lin Shuang asked, squinting.
“I have treated Lingling’s illness already. There’s something I need to deal with at Weiwei’s side,” Guo Huai said. “Teacher Lin, actually you are quite severely sick as well. Do you want me to help you make some adjustments?” Guo Huai asked, staring at Lin Shuang’s bosom with a perverted smile.
“Asshole! What do you want to do?! I’m your teacher. F-Fall back!” Lin Shuang said anxiously.
“Your body needs nourishment, and your liver has been overworking. Teacher Lin, it could be seen easily that you aren’t very healthy. I don’t even have to check your pulse to know,” Guo Huai said with a smile. “You may take this pill at the moment and have some rest. After getting back from Weiwei’s place, I’ll give you a full treatment. Hahah!” Guo Huai said and laughed before giving a small casing to Lin Shuang and leaving. There was a Pill of Youth lying within.
Lin Shuang looked at Guo Huai’s back as he left. “Naughty Boy! You’re the one who’s sick!” she shouted angrily.
Knock! Knock! Someone knocked on the door.
“Jerk, why are you here again?!” Lin Shuang said loudly before opening the door. Behind the door stood Li Xunyu, who was looking at Lin Shuang, shocked.
Did I hear it right? Did the prettiest teacher of Wucheng Subhigh say that? Li Xunyu thought.
“Headmaster Li, I-I wasn’t referring to you. Guo Huai was here a while ago,” Lin Shuang said softly with her head lowered.
“Did that brat piss you off again?” Li Xunyu asked with a smile. “Lin, you don’t actually have to be this mad. To be honest, he has been improving since he came here. I have to say, you’re the one who should get all the credit.”
“Headmaster, please don’t joke around. Since the start of this semester, I have seen him almost as many times as you have seen him. I don’t know who he learned all those from. I really have no idea,” Lin Shuang said as she shook her head.
“I see…” Li Xunyu said, smiling forcibly. “There’ll be a new student coming to your class the day after tomorrow. It’s a female student. I believe Madam Xue has passed her file to you.”
“Headmaster, why did you put every new student to our Class One?” Lin Shuang asked unhappily. “First, there was Guo Huai. Then it came Xue Dazhu and the student who intentionally dropped a year, Qian Duoduo. There has been three new students coming to Class One already in the past one month.”
Li Xunyu coughed and said, “Ahem, ahem. I’m totally aware of that. However, this female student who is transferring to your class is a Chinese American. She’s the inheritor of a major clan in America and has just migrated here recently. She immediately donated 100 million yuan to the school.”
Three days ago, a girl appeared in the headmaster’s office. Without saying a single word, she passed her documents and a bank cheque to Li Xunyu.
“My great grandfather had lived in Wucheng County for quite some time before he moved to America. Although I haven’t seen him before, I was told that he had a last wish before he died. It was for his bone ash to be sent back to the country and his descendants to return to China,” the girl said softly as he looked at Li Xunyu. “The legalities have been dealt with. I will stay in this country forever. I hope to become a student of Wucheng Subsidiary High School. May Headmaster Li grant me the permission.”
“There are rules in this school that shall not be broken. You have to sit for an entrance exam to be a student here, just like everyone else. I’ll allow you to come here if you pass every subject,” Li Xunyu said. Although he noticed how many zeroes were on the bank cheque, he still thought that the girl should go through the formalities first.
“Headmaster, she got full marks for all seven subjects!”
