“Sister Jade, since you two have left your sect, I advise you to register yourselves at the poweruser organization in Beijing. You’ll save yourselves some trouble in the future,” Nangong Lingmo said softly to Jade. She had a really good mood after the meal.

“We just want to live as ordinary people and won’t abuse our superpowers. The organization won’t do anything,” Jade said with a smile. Although she had limited divine power, the fellow Guo Huai had enough to even refine pills in the human world. There was no reason for her to be afraid of a stupid organization.

Nangong Lingmo contemplated her future for a while before asking softly, “Elder Sister, can you go with me next year to the poweruser competition? You don’t have to promise me now. If I have enough confidence after training for a year, I’ll go there myself.”

As Jade kept quiet, Guo Huai suddenly walked towards them, saying, “I’ll go with you to the poweruser competition you’ve been talking about, regardless of your confidence.”

“Naughty Boy, are you for real? You aren’t kidding, right?” Nangong Lingmo said happily.

Guo Huai lightly nodded a few times. During his time in the human world, he got a rough idea of how the human world worked. However, he had no idea how powerusers worked. They must be closely related to Heavenly Dao.

The few girls saw how well Jade matched Guo Huai the more they looked at the two. No one decided to interrupt them and left the place. Even the usually mischievous Su Ye left together with Tang Xi after giving the two a good look.

Walking at a random pathway of the school, Guo Huai asked, “Why did you come to find me? Did the one up there approve this?”

“If I leave you alone for a while more, I bet you can form a few football teams with how many wives you’d have,” Jade said jokingly. “Elder Sister asked me to come down for you. No one else knows about my absence.”

“Who truly is Fairy Chang’er? I only heard of her when I chatted and drank wine with Grandpa Taibai. He said that even Jade Emperor doesn’t dare to piss her off. Can you tell me why?” Guo Huai asked softly.

“No!” Jade said. “However, in these hundred years in the human world, you can totally have a great time here.”

“The cycle of Heavenly Dao always repeats itself. Karma always strikes without fail. How do you expect me to have fun?” Guo Huai asked as he shook his head. “It would be fine if I was reincarnated to an ordinary person, however, I still have my divine power after coming to the human world. How am I supposed to enjoy my time here? There must be a bigger picture linking all these. I’m merely a small unit in the chess game.”

“Since you managed to guess this much, what are you still worried about? These hundred years in this world will end in the blink of an eye. Since you got banished here, you shouldn’t care about whatever happens up there. Elder Sister asked me to tell you something: Do whatever you want, it’s none of your business even if the sky falls,” Jade said with a smile.

“Yeah, it makes sense. I’m not in heaven anymore,” Guo Huai said. “Jade, do you want to know what I saw back then? I saw a fairy bathing! Hahah!”

“You pervert! You deserve to be banished here!” Jade said anxiously, blushing. Back then, she was cast with Reserve Light Skill. Without having to guess, it was definitely Telepath Starlord’s doing.

“Hahah, but I didn’t get to see it clearly. Junior Sister, my dear wife Jade, when are you going to properly show me for once?” Guo Huai asked as he stared at Jade with his perverted eyes.

“Alright, if you really want to see that badly, I’ll find you later,” Jade said as she gave Guo Huai a seductive look.

“Evil Witch, I’ll take you down one day!” Guo Huai said before quickly running away. Back then when he was cultivating, Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, told him that he shouldn’t simply mess around before being truly mature. Otherwise, it would affect his karma.

“Hahahah! I’ll give you credit for escaping quick enough,” Jade said after laughing very loudly, which had attracted quite a lot people’s attention.

The life in the human world was definitely much more interesting than that of heaven. Every day, Jade would teach Lingmo some knowledge about the so-called ‘superpowers’ in the human world. She would go to class whenever she wanted to. Of course, she would spend most of the time in class communicating with Guo Huai using mental messages, or look at him teasing Murong Weiwei.

“Guo Huai, do you mind coming up here for an experiment?” the biology teacher asked. It was a simple experiment regarding knee-jerk reaction. However, the biology teacher got sent to the hospital afterwards.

“Bad news! Something happened in the martial arts hall of our school! Some students from other schools came to challenge the school. Wucheng Subhigh has lost three rounds consecutively!” someone shouted in at a walkway.

“Brother Huai, aren’t you going to take a look? I know you’re a busybody,” Jade said with a smile. She stopped calling Guo Huai ‘Senior Brother’, but called him ‘Brother Huai’ instead just like Murong Weiwei and the others.

“I’ve had a bad feeling since I woke up. I guess it’s best to not be involved. You never know if these people came for me,” Guo Huai said.

“Wouldn’t it make you more excited if they came for you?” Jade said, smiling. “Let’s go, Weiwei, let’s take a look together,” she said as she pulled Guo Huai and Murong Weiwei to the direction of the martial arts hall.

“I thought they were messing with knives and guns. It’s just some kids doing something lame. Boring!” Jade said after watching the fight within the boxing ring for a minute, pouting. “When it comes to fighting, watching Wu Gang and Yang Jian fighting would be most interesting. I’ll cause a misunderstanding between them when I go back.”

[TL note: Wu Gang and Yang Jian are the fighters following Chang’er.]

A youngster who just won a match said arrogantly, “Wasn’t Wucheng Subhigh the alleged best during Combat Championship? Isn’t there anyone who can fight except the dead Kong Xuan? Where’s Kong Xuan’s girl Murong Weiwei? Since her boyfriend died, she can follow us back to our high school. Hahah!”

“Brother Huai, I’ll go deal with the brat!” Xue Dazhu said and was about to rush to the boxing ring.

“Dazhu, he came to look for Weiwei’s trouble. It would be better if I went myself. People say that it’s never too late for a gentleman to seek revenge even if it takes ten years, but the magnificent me doesn’t care about that bullshit. I deal with hatred on the spot!” Guo Huai said as he walked up the boxing ring.

“Brother Hu, he’s the fellow that Qin Yulong was referring to. The fellow that the seven schools will be going against,” a youngster in the boxing ring whispered to another youngster.

Hahah! If I cripple him, not only will I get the 10 million from Qin Yulong, the seven schools will thank me as well. I, Xu Hu, would be rich by then! the youngster thought.

“It’s fine if you insult me, however, you’re directly seeking death by insulting my girl,” Guo Huai said softly.

“I know who you are. The guy of five vices, one of Wucheng Vile Tetrad, Guo Huai!” Xu Hu said loudly. “If you even have balls, sign this life-and-death agreement. Otherwise Li Yao, the King of Soldiers, would seek revenge on me.”

“You really look up to yourself, don’t you? To expect Brother Yao himself to show up for someone like you,” Guo Huai said, smiling. “If you want to die, you’re welcome to write a life-and-death agreement now.”

Although Jade was very far away, she could hear everything crystal clear. “The human world is indeed interesting. Life-and-death agreement? Hahah!” she murmured and laughed.
